1.3 bil­lion in public funds sho­ved down the throats of phar­maceuti­cal companies

Earlier this week, it was announced that Switzerland will have to destroy COVID-19 vaccines worth 1.3 billion Swiss francs. Anyone who thinks taxpayers will be up in arms because the Federal Council has decided to give away their hard-earned money to pharmaceutical shareholders is mistaken. Here and there, people are clenching their fists in their pockets and ranting at the regulars' table. But the majority of Swiss voters still refuse to hold the leaders of the coronavirus policy accountable. The majority are still flying blind when it comes to coronavirus. The balance sheet remains rigid:

“Federal Councilor Alain Berset said the vaccine was safe and effective.”

Berset's mantra has long been exposed as inaccurate. Vaccination is by no means safe, as evidenced by the massive number of vaccine injuries (footnote 1). And the effectiveness of vaccination has been greatly overestimated. It has not prevented the spread of the virus to any significant extent. Unvaccinated people have therefore been completely unjustifiably despised, locked out, fought against, and dismissed as drivers of the pandemic.

None of this seems to bother the good Swiss people in the slightest. They have decided to allow themselves to be manipulated, misinformed, lied to, and plundered. The 1.3 billion that our government paid to BioNTech/Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Moderna & Co. does not bother the coronists. Moreover, Alain Berset has made his escape to European spheres. And Viola Amherd, who courageously ordered the largest mobilization of the army since World War II, has also stepped down. “So why demand accountability?!”

Useless resistance against Covid-politics?

Shouldn't the remaining organizations of democratic resistance finally shut up, given that two-thirds of Swiss voters supported the Federal Council's coronavirus policy? Shouldn't those who resist simply accept the senseless squandering of 1.3 billion Swiss francs of the Swiss people's wealth?

Of course not. Democracy thrives on the resistance of critical minorities who believe that the majority will one day recognize their subjugation and give it up. That is why it is necessary to endlessly formulate and disseminate the facts and truths that the followers of the zeitgeist do not want to hear.

For five years now, the “Swiss Civil Forum” has been working to expose the mass of misinformation and the widespread damaging mistakes of coronavirus policy. More on this under Review.

As other organizations have focused on and dynamically advanced resistance to totalitarian health policy, the “Bürgerforum-Schweiz” (Swiss Citizens' Forum) redefined the focus of its activities in the summer of 2024. However, the goal of our activities remains the same: we are fighting for a free, sovereign, directly democratic Switzerland that is not dominated by the WHO, NATO, or the EU.

No lessons learned from swine flu

In the spring of 2020, during the coronavirus pandemic, there were a number of experts on the air who had already been drastically wrong with their panic-stricken predictions. For example: Ferguson in England, Drosten in Germany, and Daniel Koch and Patrick Mathys in Switzerland. All of these gentlemen had already caused enormous damage to their nations' taxpayers during the “swine flu” pandemic of 2009. In 2009, alarmists at the WHO (footnote 2) and national health authorities also predicted enormous mortality rates.

Patrick Mathys, head of pandemic preparedness at the FOPH in 2009, warned at the time of a wave of up to two million cases in Switzerland alone. The number of deaths could well be in the range of 1,000 to 5,000 people.

The Swiss government therefore took drastic measures to avert disaster. The FOPH purchased 13 million doses of the Celtura, Focetria, and Pandemrix vaccines from manufacturers Novartis and Glaxo Smith Kline. Cost: 84 million Swiss francs.

However, the predictions soon proved to be drastically wrong. While the “experts” initially predicted a mortality rate of 4% with millions of deaths worldwide, the estimate was soon revised to 1%. Even this was still far too high. In Switzerland, 18 people ultimately died. Worldwide, slightly more than 18,000 died in two waves. (Footnote 3)

However, the aftermath in the international arena was extremely tragic. Unfortunately, this happens very often with campaigns involving insufficiently tested vaccines. (Footnote 4) As a result of vaccination with Pandemrix, mainly young people fell ill with narcolepsy after 2009 (Footnote 5). Fortunately, the vaccine-skeptical Swiss had largely refused to be vaccinated at the time. Of the 13 million vaccine doses, only 2.5 million were ultimately used. Several million doses of Celtura and Focetria, worth 56 million Swiss francs, had to be destroyed. 1.8 million doses were sold/donated to the WHO and Iran. Daniel Koch from the FOPH justified the costs and the high number of vaccine doses at the time: “The federal government purchased the vaccine as insurance against the pandemic,” he said. With no insurance, it is impossible to know whether the disaster will actually occur." (Footnote 6)

Those responsible naturally got off scot-free for their misguided forecasts and excessive purchases of vaccine doses. With so much cultivated irresponsibility, it is no wonder that our state government was then allowed to squander more than CHF 1.3 billion between 2021 and 2023. To the benefit of the pharmaceutical giants. In 2024, another huge loss is expected when expired Covid vaccines have to be disposed of again. The trend in losses is likely to increase. This is because the number of Covid vaccine opponents appears to have grown.

And how much will it cost during the next planned pandemic?

The Federal Council spent CHF 2.2 billion on COVID vaccinations. Only around 25% of this (!) was used on Swiss upper arms. Some of it was once again given away to poorer countries, which hardly enhanced Switzerland's reputation as a “humanitarian nation.” Since the governments of poorer nations were often more sensible and courageous than the Swiss Federal Council, the vaccination rate there was often very low. The Swiss COVID vaccinations then had to be thrown away by these nations.

So, highly praised vaccines worth 1.3 billion ended up in Swiss incinerators. Since the sovereign lets negligent, incompetent, manipulative, and panicky “decision-makers” get away scot-free, the loss will perhaps be even higher in the next “planned pandemic.”
